Video Camera
A video camera has come a long way in its technological advances. They were originally the size of a refrigerator, developed into the size of a suitcase, and not due to modern technology can now fit in the palm of the hand. Camcorders have developed from using reel tape to using memory cards.
A video camera can have a number of different features including: digital picture effects, manual control and exposure, wide angle lens attachments, and so on. It is important to note what features are most important to the type of filming that the recorder will be used for as there are several options to choose from. While many people share the idea of purchasing a recorder with all of the bells and whistles in the event that they may use them, others like to keep it simple and only purchase the features they know they will use.
A video camera option is available on some digital cameras; however, there is a limit on the length one can record at a specific time. This is a good option for someone who doesn’t intend to record for longer than a five to ten minute period at a time. It will allow them to receive the benefits of a still camera while having the option of filming.
